Whipped coffee is known as dalgona style coffee inspired by a fluffly toffee dessert in South Korea. Super easy to make, velvety, light, and airy. This recipe was inspired by a wide array of internet searches. Fun to make and to drink! You can serve it hot or cold.

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon instant espresso
  • 1.5 teaspoon instant coffee crystals
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 1 cup milk, hot or on ice

Instructions

Dalgona Coffee Instructions (Whipped Coffee)

  1. Ingredients to Mix:

    • Instant coffee

    • Sugar

    • Hot water

  2. Whip It:

    • Use a hand mixer on high speed for 5–8 minutes until stiff peaks form.

    • If whisking by hand, expect to whisk vigorously for about 10 minutes.

  3. Serve:

    • Fill your favorite cup with hot milk or milk over ice.

    • Dollop the whipped coffee on top.
