This easy Homemade Blueberry Syrup is perfect for adding summer-y sweetness to all your favorite drinks coffee, lemonade, matcha, & more!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Add the blueberries, sugar, and water to a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat until simmering. Simmer for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally and squishing the blueberries with a spatula. Remove from heat.
  2. Strain the blueberries from the syrup with a fine mesh strainer, reserving the liquid and discarding the blueberry pulp.
  3. Allow the blueberry syrup to cool at room temperature for 15 minutes. After cooling time, transfer the syrup to a syrup bottle or mason jar with a lid and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
